Boltz is an open-source, non-custodial Bitcoin bridge that receives Lightning payments and delivers the equivalent amount in LBTC directly to your Liquid wallet.
Boltz uses atomic swaps, a non-custodial and decentralized peer-to-peer (P2P) technology that allows for the direct exchange of cryptocurrencies across different blockchains without intermediaries or centralized exchanges. Utilizing Hashed Timelock Contracts (HTLCs), the trade only executes if both parties deposit the correct funds, ensuring the transaction either fully completes or reverts.
When a customer uses your EclairBTC POS and pays you using Lightning Network, EclairBTC creates a Boltz Lightning -> Liquid swap and deposits the Bitcoin in your Liquid wallet.
