Our preferred Lightning wallet is Blink Wallet. We help every ÉclairBTC merchant set up their own non-custodial Blink wallet, so they stay in control of their funds.
When a customer pays with Lightning through the ÉclairBTC Point of Sale, the payment is sent directly to the merchant’s Blink wallet. ÉclairBTC does not hold or custody the merchant’s Bitcoin.
If a merchant wants to move their Bitcoin from Lightning to a regular on-chain Bitcoin wallet, we recommend the following self-sovereign wallet options:
